These terms apply to purchases of tours from the website www.beffatours.is which is operated by Búbíl ehf.
The terms state the rights and duties of Beffa Tours/Búbíl ehf. as well as the service buyer. All communication regarding reservation, changes and cancelation of service shall be sent to info@harbourinn.is
Online order
Customers can book a tour on our website www.beffatours.is. When booking has been made, a confirmation and booking reference will be sent to the e-mail provided in the booking process, stating departure time and date. Upon receipt of payment, a service voucher is sent to the e-mail provided in the booking process.
Cancellation or change of reservation
Cancellations 24 hours prior to scheduled departures will be refunded in full. Should a guest fail to arrive on the date of reservation, the full price for the tour shall not be refunded.
Custom made private tours
Custom made tours must be confirmed by a confirmation fee payment of 25% of the total price when booked.
Confidentiality and security
All credit card transactions are verified by Borgun (www.borgun.com) and are safeguarded always. Borgun is a payment processor for Beffa Tours/Búbíl ehf. All customer details are kept by Búbíl ehf. only.
Tour departure
All tours start from and end at the harbor in Bíldudalur. Departure time is stated on the confirmation e-mail or voucher. Please arrive at the harbor at least 15 minutes before departure as boarding starts then. It is the customers responsibility to arrive on time, or else risk losing the reserved place on board.
Weather and sea conditions
All tours are depended on weather conditions and can be canceled with short notice. This is done for our customer comfort and safety. In case of cancelled tour due to weather, all tickets will be refunded.
It is also possible to change the departure depending on availability. We do recommend to our customers to bring warm and waterproof clothes and footwear on the tour. It can get cold and wet at sea, even in the middle of summer.
Liability
All our tours run in wild nature and the company reserves the right to alter timetable, change or cancel tours if necessary for example due to weather conditions. The duration of tours can change according to sea conditions. All activities are taken at customers own risk and they must take proper responsibility of their own safety. All outdoor activities carry risk and Beffa Tours/Búbíl ehf. does not assume any responsibility for accidents caused by customers or that can be traced to the customers own actions or by factors outside of human control. Beffa Tours/Búbíl ehf. and its staff does not accept any responsibility or liability for any loss or damages on passengers’ possessions on board the boat. With the purchase of your trip you agree to these conditions, understand its implications and accept responsibility for your participation during your tour.
Law & jurisdiction
Disputes will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Iceland and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the court of Iceland.
